Turning Raw Clarity Data Into a Report Clients Can Actually Act On

Client: a Shopify-based e-commerce printer-supplies retailer (name withheld)

The challenge:

This client had Microsoft Clarity installed and collecting plenty of data — session recordings, heatmaps, scroll depth, dead-click tracking. But raw data isn’t the same as a decision. Nobody had time to watch hundreds of recordings and turn what they saw into a clear list of what to fix first.

What I did:

I combined the Clarity data with a manual mobile audit and real-device screenshots, then used Claude to help turn everything into one clean findings-and-recommendations report — sorted by priority instead of dumped in the order I found it. That meant clear “why this matters” explanations for each issue, specific fixes instead of vague suggestions, and a clear line between what was confirmed and what still needed testing.

The findings ranged from overlapping UI elements covering the Add to Cart button, to a hidden duplicate link quietly causing dead clicks site-wide, to a broken login redirect traced back to a stale ad extension rather than a site bug.

The result

The client’s team walked away with one prioritized list of site improvements instead of a pile of raw recordings to sort through themselves. A few issues were fixed and confirmed resolved right away; the rest are queued as a coordinated fix rather than scattered patches — because the priority was already set for them.

If your analytics tools are collecting data but nobody’s turned it into a prioritized to-do list, that’s usually the gap. Get in touch and let’s find out what your recordings are actually telling you.
